Legacy: Stories from the Civil War - 24th - 27th November

The freedom fighters of the War of Independence are torn apart by the Treaty. As Civil War looms over the country the people of Louth and Meath choose an alternative vision for their future. The most extraordinary moment in this period of history is recaptured in a live dramatic interpretation devised with community performers.

Using historical documentation, personal writings, local and national histories this production conjures up the diverse histories of the Civil War. An Táin Arts Centre in association with Upstate Theatre Project presents Legacy - Stories from the Civil War (Part III of The Remembrance Trilogy).
