Concert Tom Dunne, Fiachna O’Braonáin & Alan Connor - On the Road Again

On The Road Again promises to be a fun evening of songs and stories as Fiachna Ó Braonáin of Hothouse Flowers, Tom Dunne of Something Happens & multi-instrumentalist Alan Connor hit the road again in the Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol on Saturday 25th May.
Despite having shared stages across the world over several decades, Tom Dunne and Fiachna Ó Braonáin had never actually performed together until they were invited to do so on RTÉ Radio 1’s Ray Darcy show where they performed a Christy Moore song, John O Dreams, and a Willie Nelson song, On The Road Again. Ray D’Arcy loved it, Fiachna Ó Braonáin and Tom Dunne had a ball and decided now was the time to go on the road again!
Tom Dunne is no stranger to the Oriel Centre, performing there in the past with Something Happens and more recently with Alan Connor, in all cases managing to leave the audience with sore throats from singing along with him and wiping the tears from their eyes with laughter such is his talent for storytelling. We can only but imagine what type of state the audience will be left in when Fiachna encourages and joins Tom with his own tall tales!
Tickets are €35. Doors open at 8pm and onstage at 8.30pm. Please note that the bar will be closed during the performance. There are strictly no refunds except in the event of the show being cancelled.
