Brigid 1500 : Louth Birthplace of Brigid - 'Brigid's Ancient Roots at Faughart'

Led by Mary Condren, director of WomanSpiritIreland, along with Alison Lennon and Colette Allen, the morning programme will focus on the ancient roots and archaeomythology of Brigit at Faughart. The afternoon will focus on the ancient meanings of Brigit’s Cloak, Cross, and Crios/Belt.

Throughout the day, Nóírín Ní Ríain and Ruth Marshall will intersperse the panel presentations with music and poetry.
